Terms of use

Uspamin lets you build a small, personalised interactive experience (a quiz, a memory game, a story, and so on) and share it with one person via a private link. There are no accounts. Anyone with the link can open the experience.

Creating and sharing an experience is free. Experiences are kept for 30 days and then automatically expire. Either the sender or the recipient can pay a one-time fee of £10 to keep an experience permanently. No other paid features exist.

You keep all rights in anything you write or upload. By using Uspamin you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display that content solely so the recipient can open the link.

You must not use Uspamin to share content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, infringes someone's rights, or that you do not have the right to share. We may remove any experience that we believe breaks these rules, without notice.

The share and delete links contain unguessable tokens. Anyone with the share link can open the experience. Anyone with the delete link can delete it (unless it has been paid to keep forever — see below). Keep your delete link private.

We cannot recover a lost delete link. If you lose it, the experience will still auto-expire after 30 days, or you can ask us to remove it (see the privacy policy).

You can delete any experience from its delete link at any time, provided it has not been paid to keep forever. Once paid, the delete link is disabled and deletion requests must go through the contact page instead — to prevent one person from destroying a memory the other person paid to preserve.

Permanent experiences remain live indefinitely, unless the operator shuts the service down (see below).

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. The £10 fee is a single charge for one experience; it is not a subscription. Refunds are handled case-by-case — use the contact page.

Uspamin is provided as-is, with no guarantee of uptime. We may change or discontinue the service at any time. If we decide to shut the service down, we will give at least 30 days' notice on this page and email nobody — because we don't keep email addresses. Tell people who might care.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss (for example, sentimental loss of a memory that was not kept forever, lost links, or service downtime). Direct liability is capped at the amount you paid us, if any.

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continued use after a change means you accept the new version.
